An installation change, a new automation function or a project that is still loosely defined quickly raises questions about feasibility, sizing, interfaces and test preparation. We assess these elements, formalise the relevant choices and prepare the next stage to the required level of definition.
Starting situations
Engineering work rarely begins with a service label. More often with a concrete question.
- an idea needs to be assessed before committing time, equipment or site work
- an existing installation needs to evolve without losing sight of its current operation
- a control panel, switchboard or automation function needs to be sized and described
- several disciplines or suppliers need to work across shared technical interfaces
- a scope of work, drawings or other documents are required for consultation, implementation or testing
- factory testing, site testing or commissioning needs to be anticipated during design

Preparing testing and commissioning
Anticipate checks, test conditions, responsibilities and the information required to move from design to integration and then start-up where these activities form part of the scope.

This list is not a standard package. The selected documents, level of detail, format, responsibility and intended use are defined for each assignment.

- an EMS project where monitoring needs, sensors, architecture or documentation must be defined

Environments and applicable requirements
Engineering assignments may support industrial projects and regulated environments. In pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory or controlled environments, technical decisions also depend on documentation requirements and planned verification activities. We adapt the engineering work to the system, use case and requirements that actually apply. No framework, qualification level or compliance commitment is generalised across all assignments.
