Industrial electrical works

Make the actual installation match the prepared scope.

What was decided on the drawing has to hold on site.

A new installation, modification or commissioning assignment requires more than an isolated site intervention. Access, existing conditions, interfaces, safety, testing and coordination need to be clarified before work begins. We support these dimensions according to the site and defined scope.

01

Starting situations

The starting point is a concrete field need.

  • a new installation or piece of equipment needs power and connections
  • an existing installation needs to be modified or extended
  • cable routes and cables need to be prepared and installed
  • a control panel or low-voltage switchboard needs to be integrated into the project
  • automation functions require electrical work or connections
  • a malfunction needs to be assessed before defining the intervention
  • checks, testing or commissioning need to accompany completion of the work

These situations are neither exhaustive nor promises of immediate availability, permanent breakdown cover or execution without prior assessment.

Documented work families

They combine according to the site work, without being seven standardised offers.

Installation and modification

Install a new system or modify an existing installation according to the prepared scope, available documents and site constraints.

Cable routes and cabling

Prepare or install the planned cable routes, pull cables and organise their arrival at the relevant equipment.

Connections

Connect equipment according to the agreed information and responsibilities, then verify the relevant points before commissioning.

Control panels and LV switchboards

Prepare, integrate or connect the control panels and low-voltage switchboards required for the project, in continuity with the electrical engineering work where this forms part of the scope.

Automation-related work

Carry out electrical work associated with automation functions where they belong to the intervention.

Adaptations and diagnostics

Assess an existing situation, identify the causes or work to investigate and carry out the selected adaptations. Diagnostics do not imply a guaranteed resolution before assessment.

Troubleshooting and commissioning

Address a malfunction or support commissioning and start-up where these activities are planned. No on-call service or response time follows from this capability.

03

Prepare before arriving on site

A useful intervention starts with an understandable scope.

  • the site, area and equipment concerned
  • the nature of the new or existing installation
  • available drawings, diagrams and documents
  • interfaces with other equipment, disciplines or parties
  • access conditions, working times and site rules
  • safety and operational continuity constraints
  • isolations, permits or preparations assigned to the relevant parties
  • expected checks, testing and commissioning conditions
  • responsibilities before, during and after the intervention

These elements do not apply in the same way to every assignment. They show why preparation comes before a promise of execution or timing.

04

Site constraints and coordination

The site context directly influences how we work. Access conditions, safety rules, the presence of other companies, areas in operation, shutdown periods and documentation requirements are clarified before work begins. Operational continuity may form part of the constraints to integrate, without any promise of work without shutdown or guaranteed maintenance of production in the absence of specific study and planning.

Preparation also identifies site rules, responsibilities and the applicable technical framework. We only cite a certification, authorisation or specific requirement once verified for the assignment concerned.

05

What the work extends

Depending on the site work, the intervention mobilises:

  • electrical or automation engineering to prepare choices, diagrams and interfaces
  • a configurable system where functions need to be integrated into the installation
  • an EMS project where sensors, control panels, power supplies or connections form part of the scope
  • capabilities in design, automation, coordination, diagnostics, testing, commissioning and start-up

Scope and responsibilities to clarify

The installation type, voltage level, work area, timescales, state of documentation, supplies, interfaces and commissioning conditions all influence the scope. On a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory, food production or industrial site, some areas impose particular conditions, addressed according to the actual context. These elements are qualified before the appropriate intervention is proposed.
